I have never exercised a day in my life. And yes, I am a professional fitness coach for the past 15 years, love lifting weights, strength training, not a huge fan of cardio personally, and love to eat all my favrioute foods. I have been the head coach of Own Your Fitness personal training in Jersey city, and in Tribeca NYC, and the main trainer. I am always and will continue to be passionate about coaching people and teaching people about the true magic of fitness and becoming a better version of ourselves! But I have to say exercise does not work!!
What works is TRAINING! Now, whats the difference between exercise and training?
Exercise- moving your body- I.E (walking to the mall, climbing stairs on the train in NYC city, or Jersey city, sweating a little, using the elliptical, jogging a little outdoors, doing a coupe of sets and curling some 10 lbs, and or maybe doing a set of squats. Repeating this week in week out and years later why am I still gaining weight and feeling back pain? I see this around us all the time.
Training- Stepping in the gym with a clearly set, defined goal, vision, and objective! To be CLEAR & SPECIFIC with what you want to accomplish.
- A leaner, tighter, stronger body
- To enhance and a build a specific body part
- To run the NYC marathon
- To look stunning in a wedding dress
- To feel like a champion and take on the world with an empowered mindset.
- To get rid of the baby weight and have a flatter, stronger stomach.
- To progress and improve further and longer in life.
